Amy Rose, co-president of Rose Associates, Inc., focuses on strategic positioning and future development, including Rose Associates projects and ventures with clients and development partners.
Ms. Rose has worked with the company for close to 20 years, directing development, leasing, property management and marketing in the New York area.
She is a key member of the firm's consulting group, providing real estate advisory and asset management services to financial institutions and professional investors. Her expertise includes design, construction, leasing and management of high rise apartment buildings.
Ms. Rose was the lead project manager for the Chelsea Landmark, a 406 unit 80/20 residential development located 55 West 25th Street completed in 2007. The project was a joint venture with Marine Estates and achieved some of the highest rents in Rose Associates history. The building is positioned to be the finest rental in the City with "condo level" amenities and finishes.
Ms. Rose led other recent Rose Associates projects, including The Melar, a 20-story rental residential building at 250 West 93rd Street developed for Friedland Properties, and The Helena, a 33-story rental residential building at 601 West 57 Street developed for The Durst Organization.
Ms. Rose graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization, International Council of Shopping Centers, Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association of New York, the Real Estate Board of New York, and the Women's Forum Inc. Ms. Rose also serves on the Dean's Advisory Council of Literature, Science and Arts of the University of Michigan and is a member of the Board of Directors of the 92nd Street Y.
