As managing director for Rose Associates, Inc., Robert A. Scaglion is responsible for development marketing of Rose Associates-owned properties as well as third-party properties.

These responsibilities consist of designing marketing campaigns to maintain high occupancy in existing properties and complete leasing and marketing programs for new developments.

In addition, Mr. Scaglion consults with various new development teams on market positioning, design, unit mix, layouts and amenities packages for future developments.

Currently, Mr. Scaglion provides on-site marketing and consulting services for a portfolio of rental properties including: Chelsea Landmark for Marine Estates; Avalon Chystie Place and Avalon Bowery Place for Avalon Bay Communities; The Capitol at Chelsea for J P Morgan; The Montrose and RiverEast for UBS; The Melar for Friedland Properties; London Terrace Gardens and Rose-owned properties including Madison Belvedere, The Metropolis and Le Rivage. Further, Mr. Scaglion consults for and provides marketing direction for new developments for Forest City Ratner, Avalon Bay West Chelsea, UBS and Rose Associates Fee Developments.

Mr. Scaglion has created a searchable web site (www.rosenyc.com) to handle the Internet marketing needs of all properties operated by of Rose Associates. Rosenyc.com's proprietary operating system allows renters to search for available residential opportunities while gaining neighborhood information from a virtual spokesperson. The site, which features an RSS feed that allows updates on vacancies to be sent automatically to interested parties, has fast become a leading destination for renters. It is made possible through the pooling of marketing dollars from Rose-owned assets as well as assets owned by financial institutions, developers, and other Rose clients. This allows assets to be marketed in a much more powerful fashion than their individual budgets would allow.

Mr. Scaglion brings 20 years of experience to Rose Associates during which he gained unparalleled expertise providing highly successful marketing services for residential properties by using innovative ideas and experienced leadership to achieve proven results. He marketed a variety of properties owned by Rose Associates, Sydney Fetner Associates, Gotham Organization, Manhattan Skyline Management, The Clarett Group, and Albanese Development Corporation. Mr. Scaglion has consulted for national developers in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Chicago, including Crescent Heights, The Carlyle Group, and LCOR.

A licensed real estate broker and member of the Real Estate Board of New York, Mr. Scaglion has been featured as a guest lecturer at Columbia University.
