Bruce A. Spiegel, senior managing director for Commercial Leasing, oversees the marketing and leasing of Rose Associates, Inc.'s retail, office, garage and professional properties in New York City.
Mr. Spiegel, who joined Rose Associates in 1985, has extensive leasing expertise with residential property developments that include commercial and retail components.
During the past five years, Mr. Spiegel has completed more than 100 retail transactions, as well as numerous professional space and office leasing transactions. He is also involved in the Rose Associates' acquisition and development of office/retail projects.
Mr. Spiegel brings an owner's perspective to leasing projects, enabling him to achieve client goals as his team creates marketing plans, establishes rental rates and lease guidelines, manages outside consultants (e.g. retail planners and architects, attorneys, brokers) and engages in lease negotiations and tenant relations.
Mr. Spiegel's leasing of Rose Associates' diverse New York City retail portfolio has brought him in contact with nearly every established retailer in the New York City arena, allowing him to establish strong working relationships with regional and national retailers. Similarly, through many years of cooperative work, he has established an excellent relationship with the retail brokerage community.
Mr. Spiegel received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brooklyn College, and a Master of Science degree from Long Island University. He has also completed courses at the Real Estate Institute at New York University, and is an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York (member of the Stores Committee), Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association of New York, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
