As senior managing director of residential management and marketing, Jack Levy has overall responsibility for asset management, sales and renting, conversions, consulting and LIHTC Housing.
Mr. Levy performs these functions for Rose-owned assets and on behalf of individual and corporate real estate owners and institutional investors.
Mr. Levy has managed rental, cooperative and condominium properties for more than 30 years. He joined Rose Associates, Inc. in 1976 and has been directly involved with the company's residential portfolio ever since. In the early 1990's, Mr. Levy served as owner's representative in successful negotiations to convert nine rent-stabilized properties to cooperative/condominium ownership.
Mr. Levy routinely supervises the marketing and prepared pricing schedules for new condominium and rental buildings as well as cooperative and condominium conversions. He also oversees the development of certified price schedules for third party condominiums. A member of the board of directors of the Rent Stabilization Association, Mr. Levy is expert in maximizing income under the rules and regulations of the Rent Stabilization Law.
Mr. Levy serves as the owner's representative on various rental properties and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. He is a member of the board of directors of the Realty Advisory Board on Labor Relations and serves on the Contract Negotiation Committee. Further, he has served on numerous cooperative boards of directors as sponsor's representative.
Mr. Levy received a Bachelor of Science degree from City College of New York and a Master of Business Administration from Baruch College. He has earned the designation of housing credit certified professional through NAHB, and is a licensed real estate broker in New York and New Jersey.
