Jim Badzik is senior managing director and chief information officer for Rose Associates, Inc. He is involved in the firm's operations, property management and strategic planning.
Mr. Badzik joined the company in 1978 and manages Rose Associates' financial, administrative and information technology services. He manages financial transactions in excess of $100 million per month and hundreds of investment instruments held by the firm and its clients.
Responsible for the many of the day-to-day operations of Rose Associates, Mr. Badzik facilitates everything from internal communications and information processing to financial reporting. He tracks the performance of the firm, collaborating with each division to ensure all are operating with maximum efficiency and delivering Rose Associates clients the highest possible level of service.
He is engaged in the marketing, acquisition, and implementation of new management, development and consulting business for the firm. He has participated in the development, construction and marketing of numerous properties. He served as co-project lead executive managing Peter Cooper Village and Stuyvesant Town. During this four-year assignment, Rose Associates implemented an extensive, multimillion-dollar capital improvement program and transitioned the complex to luxury rental.
He maintains operational relationships with the principal banks and financial institutions with which Rose Associates does business. He also manages credit and lending activities and oversees operations to maximize the value of assets.
Mr. Badzik attended the University of Michigan, School of Liberal Arts in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and received an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University concentrating on Finance and Corporate Behavioral Relations. He is currently pursuing an Analytic Degree from the Center for Human Development Institute.
