Managing Director, Head of Construction
Charlotte Sturgis is a Managing Director, Head of Construction for Rose Associates. She manages the firm’s Construction Department, which performs third party owner’s representative development management services for both new developments as well as repositioning of existing multi-family buildings through unit and common area renovations.
The new developments currently overseen by Charlotte comprise of $2.17B in asset value and $1.4B in debt resulting in the creation of 1,856 luxury rental units and 250k+ SF of retail.
Since 2013, the ‘renovation’ component of the Construction Department managed by Charlotte has overseen $57.8M in work in 40 buildings through the renovations of 988 units and 140k+ SF of common areas (i.e. lobbies, amenity spaces, roof terraces, corridors, etc.).
Charlotte has more than 15 years of experience in real estate development, specializing in all types of construction.
She is experienced with overseeing all phases of multimillion-dollar construction projects for private-sector clients.
Charlotte joined Rose from Trinity Works, the development manager for The Summit, a 10,600-acre Boy Scouts of America National Camp. While at Trinity Works she served as Vertical Project Manager overseeing the design and construction of over 330 buildings and 13 cell towers.
Prior to Trinity Works, Charlotte worked as a construction manager with Bovis Lend Lease LMB, Inc. where she oversaw the coordination and construction of large-scale residential and mixed-use, luxury high-rise buildings in Manhattan. Some of her representative projects include Carnegie 57, Tower 111, 200 West End Avenue, Chelsea House, RiverEast, and the Mandarin Hotel at Time Warner Center.
