Job Title Marketing Specialist, Community Engagement and Events

Position Description:

The Marketing Specialist will be working on our flagship resident app designed to cultivate a community in each property that we own/manage as well as creating and driving a resident engagement program strategy incorporating exciting programs and special events to delight and engage residents.  The focus of the job is on increasing new resident usage of the App, keeping existing users engaged, and providing programs and events that increase resident satisfaction and resident renewal rates.

Essential Responsibilities:

Event & Programming Management:

  • Plan and develop a full special events and resident programming calendar for multiple multi-family properties.
  • Responsible for every aspect of event and programming staging, including idea inception and development, project planning and implementation including communications with residents, logistics, budgeting, and expense tracking.    
  • Create and implement all marketing for special events, evaluate effectiveness and report to management.
  • Manage “day-of-event” preparation, registration, set up, troubleshooting, support staff supervision and event execution.
  • Source and build relationships with vendors to provide appropriate programs and discounts for residents.

Resident Engagement:

  • Create bi-weekly HTML e-blast campaign to provide residents with information about events, activities, fitness classes and other programming of the amenities spaces as well as neighborhood events to increase resident engagement and build community.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with the Community Manager, clients, residents and other members of the office staff at all times through frequent updates and/or meetings.
  • Launch and maintain Roselife App including content, training, and reporting.
  • Develop campaign to support and increase resident usage of the Roselife App.
  • Contribute to, and create, systems that track and measure user behavior, community participation, and engagement.

Reputation Management:

  • Monitor and respond to all on-line reviews.
  • Implement and manage campaign to encourage positive reviews.

Social Media:

  • Create and implement social media strategy including property and Rose specific posts on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant social sites.

Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed and when requested. 

Qualifications and Competencies:
  • 2-5 years of experience in event planning and marketing in the customer service/relations industry.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Social Media Platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with MailChimp, SurveyMonkey, InDesign and AdobePhotoShop preferred.
  • Residential real estate experience preferred.
