'Leave It To Max' Concierge Service Now Available to Tenants at London Terrace Gardens

Posted On October 14, 2014

London Terrace Gardens, the historic rental building in Chelsea, has become the 20th property in New York City to offer residents “Leave it to Max.”  This virtual concierge, created by Rose Associates, offers an array of lifestyle services and also programs social activities designed to improve residents’ quality of life. Leave it to Max, which was first introduced to a select group of buildings two years ago, is now offered at such properties as The Larstrand on the Upper West Side, The Maximilian in Long Island City, 4 East 89th Street, and Chelsea Landmark on Sixth Avenue at 25th Street.

Leave it to Max is a broad concierge platform designed to enhance the day-to-day lives of tenants, both in-building and beyond. Similar to a hotel concierge, Max is complimentary and tenants pay only for services they choose to contract.

“Once a tenant signs a lease they are able to utilize the Leave it to Max amenity,” said Jamie Kaufman, the manager of Leave it to Max. “The service is designed to alleviate the burden of mundane tasks, but we also leverage it to bring social programming into our buildings. In addition, Leave it to Max introduces tenants to the assets of their immediate neighborhood and the city beyond.”

Residents access Leave it to Max via the telephone, on the web and also on their mobile device. The service is offered exclusively to tenants in Rose-leased and Rose-managed buildings, and Rose’s data shows that Leave it to Max’s most popular offering is move-in and move-out assistance. This service coordinates moving companies and also arranges for utility set-up and activation. In addition, renters are utilizing Max to book housekeeping, schedule dog walkers, secure theater tickets, and gain access to hard-to-book restaurants.

Kaufman added: “Out of the gate, we have seen strong buy-in from residents at London Terrace Gardens. This is in keeping with other portfolio properties where we’ve introduced the service, and I am pleased Leave it to Max appeals to both new and existing lessees.”

Leave it to Max has been actively programming the amenity spaces found in Rose’s high-end rentals. Organizers have created in-building events such as rooftop movie nights, Super Bowl parties and Halloween gatherings. Recently, the service organized U.S. Open viewing parties on the roof decks of The Larstrand and The Maximilian.
