Rose Associates Hires Michael J. Adamo as Director of Development

Rose Associates, the New York-based full-service real estate firm, announced today that Michael J. Adamo has been hired as a director within the company’s development division. Adamo joins Rose from AvalonBay Communities, Inc. where he acted as a development manager for a number of large residential properties located in Long Island.
“Michael’s extensive experience developing luxury residential properties will be an asset to Rose as we continue to focus on a variety of new development and re-development projects,” said James L. Hedden, chief development officer for Rose Associates.
Adamo, 32, has spent ten years as a development professional in the greater New York area. Most recently, he managed the development of notable AvalonBay communities on Long Island including the 379-unit Avalon Huntington Station, the 191-unit Avalon Great Neck and the 165-unit Avalon Rockville Centre II.
Adamo earned a Masters Degree in Real Estate Development from New York University and a B.B.A from Hofstra University. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the New York Private Equity Network.
