Daniel Ackerman is a Managing Director and head of acquisitions at Rose Associates. He is focused on originating,structuring, and closing equity investments in core-plus and value-add multifamily properties, as well asspearheading various capital formation initiatives for the firm. Prior to Rose, Daniel was a Principal at ProspectCapital Management, a multi-billion dollar, multi-strategy alternative investment firm, and Chief Operating Officer andBoard Member of Prospect’s wholly-owned REIT, National Property REIT Corp. At Prospect, Daniel successfullyclosed equity investments in over $2B of real estate throughout the US. ​

​Prior to Prospect, Daniel worked at Blackpoint Partners, a real estate investment and advisory firm, with a focus onequity investments and loan restructurings in the US and Puerto Rico. Daniel started his career as an analyst atDRA Advisors, a multi-billion dollar real estate private equity fund manager.​
