John Nowak
Managing Director, Construction
John Nowak is the Managing Director of Construction at Rose Associates. With over 20 years of experience as a Construction Management Executive, John oversees large-scale conversions and ground-up constructions at every stage from pre-development to project close-out. Previously, John was the Director of Construction at Rose from 2009 to 2019, where he managed several ground-up projects including the 188-unit Maximillian in Long Island City and the 181-unit Larstrand on the Upper West Side. He also oversaw multiple capital improvement projects such as Chelsea Landmark and the Madison Belvedere12.
Before returning to Rose in 2024, John managed several major projects at Naftali and ARK / WeWork Capital Advisors, totaling over 2.4M square feet of mixed-use space. Notable projects include the capital repositioning of 424 5th Avenue (Lord & Taylor), which sold to Amazon in 2020, and 200 E 83rd Street, a luxury residential tower on Manhattan's Upper East Side12.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hartwick College
