Rose Associates, the New York-based full-service real estate firm, has been named the exclusive managing agent at 11 properties owned by Mount Sinai Medical Center and Continuum Health. The properties are comprised of more than 1,000 residential apartments and dozens of professional offices. Rose’s relationship with the organization began in 2011 when it was selected by Mount Sinai to manage a 26-building portfolio comprised of 1,700 residential and commercial units.
“We are pleased to see our relationship with Mount Sinai and Continuum Health expand and look forward to managing these additional facilities,” said Mark Motley, senior managing director of Rose’s institutional portfolio. “For a number of years we have effectively managed housing and office space for some of New York City’s leading medical institutions. These additional assignments represent our commitment to servicing hospitals across the city.”
The additional buildings assigned to Rose include two properties—10 Amsterdam Avenue and 515 West 59 Street—near St Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center. Rose will also manage an additional eight properties near Beth Israel Medical Center. These include buildings on East 17th, East 18th and East 24th Streets as well as buildings along First Avenue between 17th and 18th Streets. In addition, Rose will manage a 123-unit building at 321 East 13th Street that is part of the New York Eye and Ear campus.
Motley added: “Mount Sinai is clearly dedicated to providing its employees with an exceptional resident experience, and Rose embraces this opportunity to deliver a high level of service to all tenants in this expanded group of Mt. Sinai properties.”
