Rose Associates, the New York-based full-service real estate firm, announced today that Jennifer D. Cline has been promoted to Managing Director. Cline joined Rose in 2005 as a Human Resource Generalist, and serviced most recently as Director.
“Jennifer has led many significant HR initiatives at Rose and she’s performed incredibly well during a period of robust growth at the firm,” said J. Brian Peters, chief operating officer of Rose Associates. “In her new role, she will continue to consult our clients on their staffing needs while also overseeing personnel growth within Rose itself.”
Cline, 38, will have overall responsibility for the HR and Payroll functions for over 2,500 Rose employees. Managing a team of 11, she will design strategic HR plans for a variety of large residential properties throughout New York City. She will manage labor relations across eight separate unions and also handle benefits development and administration.
“Jennifer’s ability to create effective staffing and HR strategies is a great asset to Rose as the firm continues to grow and expand its presence in the New York area,” added Peters.
Cline has 16 years of human resources experience and she has worked in a variety of industries. Prior to joining Rose, she was a member of the Medical Staffing Network where she oversaw the HR needs of 15 hospitals in three states. A trained HR analyst, she spent seven years in the U.S. Army managing staffing at posts in California, North Carolina and New York.
Cline is a graduate of the University of Denver and she received a Masters in Human Resources from Chapman University. She is a member of the Association of Real Estate Women and the Society for Human Resource Management. Cline received her PHR certification in 2005.
